Full Spectrum CBD+THC FAQ'S
CBD is one of 150 known phytocannabinoids that come from the cannabis plant. CBD is short for cannabidiol, and is popular because it is non-psychoactive and won't get you high, but still provides many of the same wellness benefits of full strength cannabis. Full spectrum CBD oil referes to a hemp derived CBD product that contains a wide array of cannabinoids like CBG, CBN, CBC, and less than 0.3% THC. No, CBD oil won't get you high even though it contains trace amounts of THC. However, prelimnary research suggests that full spectrum hemp products produce a more noticeable entourage effect, which some medical professionals say may provide relief from everyday stress, minor aches and pains, and supporting a healthy sleep cycle.
CBD comes from the cannabis plant that contains less than 0.3% THC, otherwise known as hemp. The difference between hemp and marijuana is simply the level of THC that the cannabis plant naturally produces. To the naked eye, hemp and marijuana plants look and smell the exact same. Industrial hemp is long and tall, and was grown in the mid 1900's for fiber and seed. Industrial hemp is much different from the CBD-rich cannabis plants we grow today, and the old strains of industrial hemp didn't contain much cannabinoid content. After the hemp plants reach full maturity, we harvest them and extract the CBD-rich oil with organic sugarcane ethanol before blending the final extract into our high quality tinctures, gummies, lotions, balms, capsules, and pet products.
Full spectrum CBD products became legal to purchase across the United States with passage of the Farm Bill of 2018. Cornbread Hemp's cannabidiol products can be find in chiropractic offices, pharmacies, natural health food stores, and pain relief clinics.
